See below for info on pricing and ordering your one-of-a-kind piece.
The pieces in the gallery above are samples/examples of custom orders I can create with hair submitted by you, or made with hair from my collection. Click the image to see estimated price (in Canadian dollars).
Prices do not include shipping or framing.
I can combine various pieces/styles to create your individualized design, matched to your budget. I work in two traditional hairwork styles: wirework (looped pieces made from longer hair) and flatwork (cut and glued flat pieces made from any hair length, including very short).
Each wirework (looped) piece you see above can be ordered as a hair clip*, in a black shadow-box frame for $40 CAD, or as-is in a sturdy box.
Each flat piece you see above can be ordered in a black or white wall-hanging frame (4 x 5, matted to 2 x 3) for $50 CAD. Pieces can also be made to fit an existing frame you have or would like to purchase externally.

Pricing shown in the album above is an estimate. We'll discuss the needs of your custom piece to determine a price based on what type of art you want, condition, length and colour of hair submitted, and framing.
Length/amount of hair: For the wirework (looped) style, the shortest length of hair I can work with to make flowers is 5 inches. However, some pieces above require longer hair. Generally, the longer the hair, the more versatile, and the larger each petal can be.
For the flatwork style, pieces can be custom designed to accommodate as much or as little hair as you have (click on photos above for approximate sizes of items pictured). For a 1 in x 1 in piece, a minimum of 2 square inches of hair laid flat is needed, or however much hair is needed to cover the area of the size of piece you'd like, doubled. More is always better.
All unused hair will be returned along with your piece.
Condition: Hair should be mailed in a sealed plastic bag clean, totally dry, and free of debris. For long hair, it should be tied into one or several ponytails or braids with elastics. Hair that is not tied can be used but may cost more due to time spent sorting it. Hair that is matted cannot be used to make a piece in the wirework (looped) style.
